White Cotton Dress Gloves

I bought two pairs of these gloves, size small, and they fit fine at first. I was disappointed after running one of the two pairs through the washer and dryer that they shrunk significantly. The unwashed glove measures 8 1/4 inches from middle fingertip to wrist hem, and the washed glove has shrunk to 7 inches! The cotton fabric of the washed gloves also has started to pill and fray. I will wash the second pair by hand and air dry them and hope they don't shrink as much.

I wanted gloves for wearing at night with hand cream to heal my dry cracking skin in the winter. I first purchased 3 pair from amazon. They were horrible! Advertised as cotton but had little cotton in them and were very thin. The first pair I put on were "off". My thumb kept coming out of the thumb hole. Kept waking me up all night until I gave up and took it off.
The ones from Townsends are wonderful! Much sturdier and made very well! The fit couldn't be better. I wear a medium and these fit perfectly!

These are nice gloves. The elastic is much more convenient and user-friendly than snaps. They are thin, very comfortable for warmer weather. They add a nice touch to my outfit.

Loves your gloves, they are best I have found anywhere. I have very small hands, so finding gloves that fit me is extremely hard. Once I ordered yours I fell in love with them as they,pardon the expression,'fit like a glove'. It's almost like a second skin.

I got two pairs thinking they couldn't be that durable, but they are. I use one pair for formal and one pair for a light glove around camp and as liners for bigger gloves and the wool mittens.
