Spider Skillet
1 review
Great for hearth as well as campfire, this Spider Skillet is based on examples in George Neumann’s book, Early American Antique Country Furnishings. This iron Spider Skillet is 12” in diameter and stands on 6” legs. The pan is crafted from a spun blank. It also comes pre-seasoned and ready fry. Handmade by a local blacksmith. The handle is 13” long while the pan is 1-1/2” deep.

Elsie Arson I gave a chef friend the spider skillet for open-fire cooking at the cottage. He and the whole family rave about it. Super practical but also impressive. Gives you some new techniques to cooking over the fire. Three legs make it stable on uneven surfaces. Long handle protects the cook.
