Small Forged Tomahawk with No Heart

I purchased one for the fun and to see if it would be a useful addition to my backpacking kit. I have experimented throwing it a few times and found it to be fun and easy.
I brought it along on a 4 day trail logout project (Washington Cascades). Very quickly it became a favored tool for limbing and debarking the downed trees we had to remove. And at the end of the trip the others on the crew asked for the link so they could get their own.
NOTE: I put a lot of work into getting a clean/sharp edge on the head. I also sanded off the finish, oiled the handle, and added a cord grip.

I run a youth group that teaches kids about 17th and 18th century outdoor skills. Some of my younger kids are too small to throw a full sized tomahawk well, but this small one is just right for them. We often have tomahawk throwing contests and now the smaller kids have the ability to compete with the bigger kids. These 'hawks are well made and perfect for the educational work we do with kids.

A very small and light tomahawk, perfect for taking with you everywhere on your belt or in a pack.
I wanted one with a heart piercing, but they were out of stock. Will be buying at least one of those as well.

I did another review on this before; now I'm giving it five stars. It is an amazing thrower! I stuck it many times. I had had handle trouble, but customer service was very helpful and now it works great. Depending on where you live, the handles may swell and shrink with seasons, and if you live in a humid or wet place or a dry place. Also, it is very light and nice to carry around; kids can easily throw it.
