Pinner Apron in Osnaburg

$30.00

A nice, very sturdy work apron. The bib attaches to your bodice with pins at the top and ties around your waist. Made in homespun-look cotton osnaburg . One size fits most. About 38" long from top of bib to hem.

Brenda (The Apron Lady)
Not an apron review, yet..

Because I collect and do a lady's (sometimes men included) presentation for churches and other different organizations, I very much appreciate AM's "Great Apron" review! I have over 100 aprons of various styles, themes, countries, time periods, etc. The crazy thing is, even though my husband is a French & Indian war re-enactor, I've never considered one of these aprons for my collection. Today, he wanted to place an order with free shipping but fell $hort. So, I offered to peruse the catalog items. This apron immediately caught my eye, but I wondered how "safe" using the pins to attach to the bodice were (ouch?) and I almost thought to look for something else. But I must say AM's comment about wearing the bib down is a most excellent idea!!! Not abominable at all! For I as well would have the same small bib appearance due to a family endowment. I wish I could thank her personally. God bless America, Brenda (a/k/a The Apron Lady)

Thanks to AM for her review, you've made a sale.

Great Apron

I wish the bib came in different sizes because mine would look oddly small if I pinned the bib up. But I bought this for a "modern" kitchen apron. I tie it at the waist and let the bib hang down to wipe my hands on. (Hope that's not abominable) Apron has held up well over many washings and stains have washed out better than other fabric aprons.
