Ladies' Short Cape

This cape is so nice! I'll be wearing it as often as weather permits here in Wisconsin - which still isn't often enough as far as I'm concerned lol. It's so well made and such nice quality! I got the gorgeous dark green. The pewter clasp is just the finishing touch it needed. It's a soft woolen blend with a cotton liner, and it's definitely classy to wear nowadays and shouldn't be considered too old fashioned to wear. Also, customer service was really very wonderful too! I couldn't be happier with it, and I'm happy to support such an excellent group of folk who dedicated their lives to teaching us about our past!

I bought a black one…well made and very pretty. Lined in black cotton. This is not as heavy a fabric as for a long cloak I purchased in Williamsburg. But it does a good job of blocking a stiff, chilly breeze during the transition seasons; and I’m fairly comfortable down into the upper-40s/low-50s (with several petticoats). The clasp is pretty, too (though you may need to swap it out for ribbon ties, depending on the authenticity standards for where you’re working).

Purchased this to keep me warm on the cool nights that I am giving tours. It's so nice, warm and not bulky or heavy. With layers underneath my costume it's kept me warm. The clasp is beautiful as well.
