This is pretty much a required safety item and at a good price. heck you could buy this and keep it as a spare for emergencies when your's or someone else's goes missing.

The one part I don't like, and at this cost it's a minor issue, is the length of the cord and the color. most of us tie these off on the trigger guard of a sling swivel-this cord just isn't long enough, and if you're in a military unit, at least British, that will be expected to be black or white, so you'll have to spend time painting it.

Word of warning don't show up on MY parade ground with a guard in brown unless you want the entire regiment to hear about it.

Nice quality, thick leather and I recommend this product because I had another from a different company and it fell apart in a year's time. This one will last forever.
