Cloak Clasps Style E

I ordered this clasp for a carriage cloak I'm making (based on an 1840s instruction), and was very glad to see the level of craftsmanship. The designs upon the clasp and the shape of the clasp itself are very dainty and fine, but the clasp is still hefty enough to hold a heavy wool cloak in place. It's a very fine clasp at a very good price, and I really recommend it.

This clasp is the perfect size for a lady's cloak. Delicate and intricate design is not lost in the size. Used on modern style cloak pattern (Simplicity 8263) and the clasp just elevates the look. The only thing I was surprised on was the size of the hook, being a bit larger than expected, but when you have thicker fabric this is necessary. Would definitely order this clasp again.
