We're really excited about this new product! Wears like a modern backpack. This Knapsack is based on an existing Revolutionary war example. The original is linen and we offer that option as well with our Linen Knapsack KS-7151. Simple one pocket design and made from a heavy off white canvas. Approximately 19" tall by 17" wide. If standard sizing doesn't typically work for your shoulder strap length, make sure to select "Longer Shoulder Straps" in the drop down box

Should have gotten the longer shoulder straps

This knapsack held everything I needed for a period camp out and is a great value for the money. Extremely durable. Only bad part is that at 5 feet 10 inches tall and 220 pounds, I should have gotten the longer shoulder straps. I will definitely go with them when I order another one of these knapsacks.

Canvas knapsack

I received my knapsack today and actually put it to the test. The craftsmanship is supurb, it's made from heavy canvas and after I stuffed it with my groceries it really held up nicely. I am very pleased with this product. As always i will continue to purchase from Townsends. Also i recommend this product you will be pleased.
