Patch Knife Kit

  • Sharp and Sturdy
  • Perfect in the Woods or at Camp
  • High-Quality Steel

Use this little knife before your next foray onto the battlefield or during your next hunt in the woods. The partial-tang blade is made using the same high-quality steel as our other top end knives. The handle is not included. We recommend you use either wood, antler, or bone. The included instructions will guide you through the simple process of putting a handle on. This is a fantastic project to tackle with your adolescent! The blade measures 2-1/2 in x 1/2 in with a beefy 2-1/2 in tang. The pewter bolster is 3/4 in diameter.

Got this for my husband's christmas gift. He loves making handles so these are perfect for him! They are sturdy, well made blades!

Good knife, not a great blade

The knife is perfect, was easy enough to make, and i really just love this knife overall. The only problem is, the blade got fairly dull after light use, making a couple feather sticks. I’m just not sure if there was any heat treatment put into the steel, i know it’s already a good steel, or maybe it’s something i’m doing, but it’s definitely worth the price, no doubt.

Having never made a knife before, I’m starting with this kit after reading the reviews and watching the videos about it. Looking forward to finding just the right material to use for the handle.

This is one Awesome little knife kit, blade was very sharp and only required a few passes on a strop to finish the edge to razor sharp. I used a pin oak branch that I had used earlier in the year for dowel, made a nice handle. I was so impressed with this knife that I just ordered 2 more. I'll use antler on next one and I figure to use antler for bolster as well. Again... Very Nice Kit
