A common tea variety in the 18th century. It has a sweet black tea flavor. Tastes even better with a dusting of freshly grated nutmeg. 30 to 40 servings per tin. Approximately 2oz of loose tea.
My favorite of the three teas. Great flavor and aroma. I'll be buying more soon!

robust black tea
As someone who typically leans towards oolong, green, and mate teas, I find Nutmeg Traders' Black Bohea tea a pleasant surprise. It's hearty and warming, perfect for enjoying hot or as a refreshing iced beverage. Fans of Darjeeling might find it familiar yet distinct, with its pronounced earthy body. This tea truly satisfies and has become a delightful addition to my tea stash.

A Unique Flavor
This is a tea I could get used to. It is unlike any modern blend. Less harsh, in my opinion. It has a sort of flavor which I can only compare to a good, freshly cut grass smell. It give a robust, dark cup for roughly a tablespoon or two of tea. The Townsend recommendation of adding nutmeg to it was well worth it. I enjoyed giving this historic drink a try. Very much worth the money. Strongly recommended!
