Very good mid-19th century style spectacles. Spring back ear tabs make these very comfortable. Each lens measures 1-3/4" wide and 1-1/4" tall. They are about 4-3/4" between temple pieces and have plain gray metal glasses frames. The straight portion of the temple piece is about 5", and an additional 2" with the spring back ear tab, making the overall length of the temple piece 7". 

You can have your prescription glass installed at your local optometry shop (let us know and we will loosen the screws for you). Available with clear lenses or 2X.

Bevel: Hide-a-bevel/V bevel. There is a safety bevel on the backside of the magnified lens.

Screws are permanently installed

These great frames have been my go to for a few years. I love them. The most recent ones I bought however have different screws, and these screws are permanently installed. You will be drilling and likely ruining these frames if you need to try and put prescription lenses in them. Whatever changed during the manufacturing process has made them impossible to replace lenses, side frames, anything. Is it permanent loctite? Or peened screws? Either way its massive overkill.
These are still great if you wear glasses for entertainment. Which nobody does.
I read now in the description you have to specify that you actually need glasses when ordering glasses so they will make them with removable screws. In trying to fix a problem that didn’t exist, they created a problem that is difficult to fix. Dumb.
I love these glasses, or did. Kind of P.O.’ed at the moment.

I like that the arms go around my ears so they won’t fall off during a battle

Great price. The ear "springs", I guess, are pretty uncomfortable. But I like I can get my prescription in them; which I haven't done yet. I know they're 19th century, but I think they'll be fine for my SAR color guard.

Everything went great and the fit is good. I’ve sent them out to get prescription lenses put in them.
