I even fold the cuff down just above my nose for sleeping on cold nights! I've always wanted a Voyageur's Cap and when I saw one in green in your catalog I did not hesitate. It came in a timely manner back in summer. When cold weather came to Appalachia I started wearing it and received many compliments. The cap is well made and a great value, warm but still allows ventilation. This past weekend when the weather turned very cold it was 16⁰ with 8 inches of snow on the ground it's the cap I choose. My wife likes it so much she promptly stole my cap and told me to buy another on.

I got the off white one. A great color. And the wool is so soft and warm. Great for the colder seasons. It also came with a little string tied at the base of the pom pom, which really adds to the look.
I have worn this hat to several events now, and have not been disappointed! It is a warm, great night and camp cap, and is great for sleeping outside! I have used it for so many different personas, from a sailor to a surgeon's assistant, and it looks so much better than a workman's cap without getting blown off by the wind or in the way like a normal hat. As usual, Townsend quality and customer service is superb.
