Cut in similar fashion to our MC-150 Men’s 18th Century Civilian Coat, but unlined and without working pockets. Made of the same Melton wool fabric, so the unhemmed edges will not fray. Available in black, navy, and brown, in the following chest sizes: S (34”–36”), Medium (38”–40”), Large (42”–44”), X-Large (46”–48”), and XX-Large (50”–52”).

Excellent quality for the price.

Just got mine the other day. Very pleased eith the overall construction and quality. Only reason it's not a 5 star is because I never got the email saying it was shipping.

Great value for the price.

This is simply constructed as described, so it lacks some authentic details, but if you need a nicely cut civilian coat for occasional events or purely costume use, this will do the trick very nicely at a very affordable price point. The material is beautiful and the cut is authentic. I wore it to an event recently and drew nothing but compliments from people in and out of my unit, and several people asked where I got it. One thing I did to improve it for my own use was to add a simple pouch pocket in black linen to the inside so that the stitching is hidden behind the pocket flap. Even without that, it’s a very nice coat that looks great.

Great Coat!

I just received my civilian coat and I'm really happy about the look, the fit and how well it fits in with my character. As usual, Townsend comes thru again! I love the coat and it's fits really well. The wool will keep me warm in fall as well as winter too! Thanks Townsend for the coat!
