Today we interview Karen Hainlen. She is a professional spinster (in the traditional sense of the word) — making her living at spinning, weaving, and knitting. Her business, Apple Cart Creations, specializes in handcrafted reproduction 18th century clothing. In this video she shares with us her experiences in getting started, and how she has turned reenacting into a vocation.
