the small wedge tent
these are very very good tents.. ive had two.. the first one i got was in 1995.. and finally that one wore out in 2013.. and i got the 2nd one in 2014.. the 2nd one i like even better.. it has the 4 loop holes for the tent stakes on each side.. the 1st one only had 3.. but it is just the right size for me and my impression.. but thank you mr townsend for having this company Review by Edward (Posted on 9/17/2017)
Perfect for one...
... or two if you don't mind being particularly cozy. I'm not a tall man (5.5 feet), so this tent fits me fine. I have plenty of room for me and my kit, but, like the other reviewer, I can't stand up fully inside so getting dressed takes a bit of practice. Getting in and out isn't very easy either, but it's warm and, as I do most of my events by the ocean, I haven't had problems with leaks or water. I take it home, dry it out, and it's good to go. No mildew at all.
It also goes up easy, so much so that even my camp buddies are always shocked at the speed.

a great home for one
I've been using one of these for more than 20 years and have no regrets.

It is home for one , more than that is stupidly crowded but if you're on you're own it works just fine. you lie on one side and pile your gear on the other.

I've used it in all sorts of weather and never had a single leak and it's small enough that it doesn't get chilly.

The only down side is the height. I'm 5' 11" and can't stand up in the thing. not without being bent over so going in or out is done on your knees. It lacks dignity and getting dressed in the tent can be a little rough. I usually pull on breaches while sitting up then crawl out and put the rest of my kit on once i clear the exit.

but that's the only down side and with practice, this is small enough you can put it up on your own- not something that can be said about larger tents and marquis.
