Travels through NC, SC, GA and Florida C-7321
William Bartram was an American naturalist who in 1773 embarked upon a four-year journey through eight southern colonies. During his travels, he recorded his visitations with Seminole and Cherokee peoples, traders and rice plantations. During his explorations he discovered the "Franklin tree," a species that survives today only because of his conservation efforts and the seeds he collected. Soft cover, 520 pages.
