Hand Blown Mallet Bottle GB-208
This bottle got its name from its mallet shape. The largest of our authentic bottles. About 10-1/2” high and holds approximately 56 oz. This corked bottle well represents those made between 1750 and 1780. This style of bottle would have been used into the very early 1800's. Made of dark green glass, it has a a string rim and deep basal kick similar to original versions. Originally used primarily for storing wines, but also good for vinegars, oils, and water. Imported.
