2 Pint Brass Trade Kettle

$295.00

Trade Kettles were in use from the mid 1600’s all the way to the American Civil War. They were commonly traded with Indians, thus their name. Our Museum-Quality Trade Kettles are exact replicas of originals held in a private collection. Riveted dog-eared tabs secure the iron bail. Our Small Trade Kettle is about 6” in diameter and holds approximately 2 pints. Unlike imported versions of this product, which are nickle plated, the interior of our Trade Kettles is hand-tinned.  They are also completely food-safe.  These kettles are correctly shaped, down to the angle of the sides and the radius of the bottom edge.  Handcrafted in the U.S. by Master Brazier, Peter Goebel.  They cost more, but we make no apologies for that; the craftsmanship and accuracy are worth it. Made in USA
