Black Ball was often issued to Rev-War soldiers to keep their shoes presentable. This paste produces a clean black satiny finish. A bees-wax polish based on 18th century recipes, using ingredients which were all available during that time. 1-oz, comes in a 2-3/4” lidded tin.

This is the stuff
If you rarely use your leather shoes you won't need this for a while, but it is better to have it and not need it right now than to need it right now and not have it. As a kid I polished my shoes every week on Sundays. Remembering that, this product is a joy to use. I use it once or twice a season depending on weather and use.Review by Peter(Posted on 1/22/2018)
Great price for quality black ball
I applied a good helping before going to an event, the weekend was a wet one and with two battle sequences a day in a heavily wooded muddy setting, it beaded water well and my shoes cleaned up fairly easy , keeping my feet dry! good ole black ball! Beats modern polish hands down!Review by 71st piper(Posted on 6/23/2017)
