Good read

Terrible printing. The old English is great but how ever it was printed is just awful. A lot of the book isn’t even readable because it’s so sloppy.

Recipes and More...

The Compleat Housewife is indeed complete. Most of the book contains hundreds of recipes, but there is also a section on making drinks and another section on health remedies in the home. It is an important part of my 18th Century cooking library.
