Handcrafted Wooden Masher

$38.00

Mashers were the 18th-century food processor, turning any heavy kitchen bowl into a mortar. Want to make mashed potatoes like Grandma? A masher is what you need (as well as grandma’s recipe). This masher will also work perfectly as a pie dolly (a form) around which you can make a standing crust for meat pie. The business-end of this utensil measures 2-1/2” in diameter. Its overall 12-1/2” length allows you to get a good grip on it with both hands. It’s made right here in Indiana of hard maple – hand turned, sanded, and polished. Masher and Pancheon sold separately.

Bought this as a gift for a close family member an it quickly became the only one that's used in the kitchen!

Awesome Masher!

This has got to be the best masher ever! I was using the curved wire masher but this is much better and is also much easier to clean, simple design that does the job well! While here I also have to comment on packaging & shipping, it is Excellent! Thank you!

Wow!

Ok, so I know this is “just a masher” but this is THE nicest wooden piece of anything in my kitchen. I have really nice Amish made spoons and such but this masher arrived with the nicest finish and is so ergonomically perfect for me. I bought this in conjunction with the pancheon bowl and it’s the PERFECT combination. If you’re on the fence about this item - just buy it! You won’t be sorry.
