These hats can make a very impressive straw tricorn or they can be used "as is" to make a variety of beautiful men's and ladies hats. The quality and construction on this hat are quite good and the 5" brim width will leave you with a lot of room to work. The total hat diameter is 19" and the crown is about 4-1/2" high. Great fit. Looking forward to staying cool at re-enactments

Good, quality straw hat for non- extra large heads.

A quality straw hat that I found fairly easy to reshape to my liking. I like the wide brim and the taller crown. It is however a little snug for an extra large head such as mine. I found that it did stretch a little bit when soaked in water and put on a hat jack.

It is a fine hat

I was originally planning to embellish this hat with a ribbon and flowers but it is fine as it is. I will wear it every day during the summer months. I know I could have gotten a straw hat for $5 but they are not as good as this hat. Needs a chin strap to stop it blowing off thine bonce.

My garden hat

I wear this hat when plowing my garden and doing other chores outside.
I like the wide brim, it helps keep the sun off of me.

Nice but, but runs very small

This is a very nice hat for the money, but as far as "one size fits most" it definitely is not - it runs very small. I have a large to extra large head and the hat just kind of perches on top of my head.
Hopefully I will be able to stretch it enough to make it functional, otherwise it will just go into the costume closet at the museum where I volunteer and I search for something that fits better,
