Great Comb

I didn't like the feel of modern plastic combs, so this seemed like a good alternative. It looks wonderful and feels great. A convenient size for travelling and taking on expeditions. Careful with it though! Mine broke in two on a hard tile floor after dropping it several times.

The Best Comb I've Ever Bought.

This comb is so, so practical. I was looking for a good bone or horn comb to use daily with my boar bristle brush, after growing frustrated with cheap plastic combs (both bad for the environment and easily broken in my hair) and harsh metal combs that damaged my hair. At first I was worried the teeth would be too wide for me, but they're just right, and the ends of the teeth feel very satisfying when you comb them over your scalp. Better yet, these combs become nicely conditioned with the oils in your hair (in my case, natural hair oils and a bit of Macassar oil), but wash clean very easily with cool water and just a touch of gentle soap.

All in all, I'm just sad I hadn't gotten this comb sooner; it's made my daily hair dressing and care much less frustrating!

Nice horn comb

Very nice comb to keep in your knapsack. You could use it to comb your hair, and to keep lice out as they did 18th century camps.

Horn comb heavy duty well made!

I am the proud owner of one of these combs. They are well-made and heavy duty nothing like the standard modern comb so you have to be prepared for that. I carry this as an every day item in my back pocket. My four-year-old grandson likes to use it also.
