Based on numerous historic examples ranging from the 16th to early 19th centuries. Handmade by master potter Gary Nieter. Stoneware pottery, measuring approximately 7 1/2 in wide by 4 in high. Sizes vary. While historical evidence indicates ceramic lids were not used until the 19th century, metal lids may have been adapted earlier on. Copper lids are sold separately. If you wish to order a chamber pot and anticipate ordering a copper lid as well, please let us know when ordering and we'll select a pot that fits the lid.
