As someone who typically leans towards oolong, green, and mate teas, I find Nutmeg Traders' Black Bohea tea a pleasant surprise. It's hearty and warming, perfect for enjoying hot or as a refreshing iced beverage. Fans of Darjeeling might find it familiar yet distinct, with its pronounced earthy body. A Unique Flavor
This is a tea I could get used to. It is unlike any modern blend. Less harsh, in my opinion. It has a sort of flavor which I can only compare to a good, freshly cut grass smell. It give a robust, dark cup for roughly a tablespoon or two of tea. The Townsend recommendation of adding nutmeg to it was well worth it. I enjoyed giving this historic drink a try. Very much worth the money. Strongly recommended!
